Why I am writing this

One reason is that I have just published a novel on, and it was suggested to me that I write a blog to help publicize it. A more important reason is that I have never taught or shared what I do without learning more from my students, or my readers than I can ever hope to teach them. So, now, you know my major motive. I’m looking to you, my readers, to help me along this journey. I do hope you will respond to my writings, so I will get to know you better. I want to know what you are trying to do. Do you want to learn more about writing? Do you want recommendations from me about what books are available on writing that I think are useful? Are looking for recommendations for books that are fictional romances that I have enjoyed reading? Let me know what you want, and I will ¬†provide it. If, along the way, I happen to motivate you to buy my book out of the many that are available to you, I will be a happy camper.

I am still recovering from Have you heard of it? It is a web site  hosted by some folks in Berkeley, California. The idea is to sign on to on November 1 to start writing a 50,000 word novel.
